What if I'm a non-veteran business that supports the community?
You pick a tier — Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum — and run it free for 30 days. Card details are collected at signup but nothing is charged until day 31. Cancel any time during the trial at no cost.
How does the 30-day free trial actually work?
When you check out, Stripe records your card but doesn't charge it. You get the full Bronze/Silver/Gold/Platinum listing immediately. On day 31, your first month is billed automatically. Cancel at any point in those 30 days from your Stripe portal — no fee, no questions, no follow-up.
Is there a limit to how many businesses you'll list in my area?
Yes, for competitive local service categories — real estate, mortgage broking, trades, cleaning, accounting, anything where the community wants a shortlist instead of a phone book. We cap each category per suburb. Once that cap is reached, new applicants join a waitlist for when an existing listing churns out. The cap protects the directory's usefulness for the people searching it and protects the businesses already in from being diluted. Specialist services with naturally limited supply don't need a cap.
Do I have to offer a discount to veterans and first responders?
It's encouraged but not mandatory. The community looks for the discount filter, so it tends to be the businesses with offers that get the clicks.
How does verification work?
We do real human review. Service records, ABNs, business documentation — whatever proves the ownership claim. We don't rubber-stamp.

What if my competitor lists before I do?

Tier placement is first-come within tier; suburb availability is first-come within category.
