Aligned Supporter Businesses

Businesses backing veterans and first responders.

Not every business that supports the community is owned by someone who served. These are the aligned supporters — Australian businesses that pay to stand visibly with veterans and first responders, and back it up with real action: discounts, hiring, partnerships, donations.

What “veteran-friendly” actually means here

A lot of businesses say they support the community. Fewer actually do something about it. On the M1R Alliance directory, “veteran-friendly” isn’t a self-applied sticker — it’s a tiered, paid commitment that funds the verified listings the people who served are getting for free. Aligned supporters are the financial reason the rest of the directory exists.

Every business on this page sits inside one of four tiers — Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Preferred Provider — and each tier asks more, both in cost and in visible commitment to the community. A real discount, a hiring preference, a partnership, a donation tied to the M1R network — supporters back up the badge with something the community can actually point at.

How a supporter ends up on this page

We don’t take everyone. Aligned supporters go through a check before they list — a quick conversation, a look at how the business actually treats the community, and confirmation that what they’re promising in their listing is real. If a supporter stops doing what they said, they come off the page. The badge has to mean something to be worth paying for.

Looking at the tiers and pricing? The full ladder lives on the supporter pricing page. If you’d rather talk it through with a person first, the contact form lands directly with the team.
